• All these “free” plugins are usable only in paid versions because free is maybe for kids playing with WordPress. Everything that you really need is only in paid versions… Like taxes etc.

  • Looks logic to me. Can you get a peace of cheese for free in a supermaket?

@lmrig I’m sorry to hear the free version doesn’t have sufficient functionality for you. The Simple template does show taxes, but only if you have enabled them in WooCommerce and if they were charged for that particular order. For most people this suffices but I understand each store owner has different needs/requirements. As you can see by the number of sites using this plugin (300.000+), a lot of people seem to be finding the plugin useful even in the free version. We do our best trying to find a good balance between offering a fully functional free version and supplement it with paid extensions that offer additional functionality (such as displaying prices/taxes on a more detailed level). Having these paid extensions makes it possible for us to support and maintain this free plugin for those that don’t need that added functionality.

Do note that everything we do with our paid extensions is possible with the free plugin too – they are simply extensions that make these things easier for people that don’t have the skills to create a custom template or to integrate data from other plugins.

@uwsiteonline then your logic is =0 when you compare it with supermarket, there is nothing free. WP is free like many other plugins. My god, better don’t post anything.

@pomegranate Ok, I note that. So I can edit/create invoices to show price without VAT, how much is that VAT in %, how much is VAT in cash, and then total price together at every line of a bought product like it’s needed in most of EU countries in Free plugin?

Yes, with a custom template (instructions here) you can read this data from the $order object and print all data that is stored by WooCommerce. This does require a modest level of PHP knowledge.

like it’s needed in most of EU countries

The default output shows the total amount of tax per rate in the totals, which is sufficient for most EU countries.

Imrig you talking nonsense. You have almost 90% of capabilities from free version. If you don’t know how to setup ask for help. Your review is crap. Probably your father is milioner and you work for free. Please go to Magento and Shopify they also allow some free things
