• Does the job, easy and intuitive interface … after I have discovered where to add the note. ??

The instruction “Add your first note via the ‘Add note’ button in the ‘Screen Options’.” could be a bit more elaborate, e.g. on the home screen of the dashboard in the pull down menu on top of the page. Particularly when using a translated version of WP it needs some time to figure out where are the ‘Screen Options’ (I was searching in the settings and for a new menu). The best option would be a note with a link after activation. (Note: I have noticed later the screenshot with the Add note button, but usually I don’t check screenshots for instructions.)

This is just a minor advice for usability, still 5 stars.

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for the tips! I definitely agree that its a bit hard to find that button!

What do you think about maybe adding a first not with one of the brighter colors?

Thanks and have a good weekend!

    Thanks, that’s a great idea!

For me personally those one-off notifications directly after activation are quite useful. You could mention there that a sample note has been created on the dashboard. In that sample note you could also point to the screen options and give some getting-started instructions (Similar to that sample post after installing WordPress).
