Used to Work Well

  • Used to work well and I used it regularly for both back ups and transferring sites between local dev and servers, etc. Now it feels like everything is sat behind having to pay for it.

    Can’t restore any backups without paying for it. Can’t import an export of any noticeable size without paying for it. Can’t use any service like S3, dropbox, FTP, etc without paying for it.

    Other than exporting a dump that cannot be used anywhere, it’s hard to see what you can do with it without paying for extra extensions. I understand people need to earn a living but it’s annoying when a product that was previously useable suddenly gets pretty much completely disabled unless you pay for it

    While the free version of the plugin does have some limitations, it does still offer a number of useful features that may be sufficient for your needs.
