I used to run this Plugin for a few years to translate Events, and the chance to translate emails from the Settings page was excellent. However, this is no longer possible.
I noticed after a series of updates of WPML, Events Manager and PHP Upgrade (to 7.2) that this plugin is responsible for this error>
Deprecated: Function create_function() is deprecated in /homepages/1/d570148024/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/events-manager-wpml/events-manager-wpml.php

I now need to keep it deactivated if I want this error to disappear.
So sad…this was otherwise a great Plugin.

  • I am also having problems since last update. Many notifications appear, apparently for past events. Looks like the notifications disappear (one by one) if I delete past events permanently but I would like to keep these archived.

Hi @fotomarathon, I think your timing was just off by a week or so, as we released a major update back then which not only fixed any pending bugs we were aware of at the time but also made multiple improvements leading to 100% compatibility for all our features.

I hope you’ll give it another try (and maybe update your review stars ;))

@guntrust this sounds like a different issue to me, related to EM itself, and can be solved by going to Events > Settings > General (tab) > Admin Tools > Remove orphaned events
