• …But since the recents updates (I don’t know exactly wich one, since I don’t use the plugin everyday), it seems that the tool only returns the files that contain the string in their title, making it impossible to actually find a string within a file.

I get “Your search was completed, but no results were found..” most of the time, no matter what I type.

I don’t even know if there’s another tool like this in the Plugins archive. So disapointed ??

    Hi there,

Sorry to hear you’re having difficulties getting results with the plugin.

Could you share some of the search scenarios where you expected results but didn’t get any?

Just wanted to follow up here, as the cause for this has been identified.

It seems the plugin is not properly identifying if you are doing a regex or plain text search in all cases, and as such just errors out and finds nothing. I’ll have this sorted hopefully by the end of the day today with a patch up, but at the latest by the end of the weekend.

    Hi,

Just noting that version 2.1.1 just went live, and includes the fix to the search check that i mentioned in the previous post.

What a responsive developer! Thanks for staying on top of such issues. I’m duly impressed.
