Used to be perfect. Now it’s annoying

    Hi @opus13i,
    just to clarify, the update notice was present in every recent version of Duplicate Post since 3.0 (October 2016), it was not introduced in this version.
    It can be dismissed with a click on the X in its upper right corner.
    Joining the mailing list is completely optional and it’s offered as a useful mean to be informed about the updates of the plugin, since the notice is probably going to be retired
    Also, the notice does not contain any “thank you” message… Can you explain what you are referring to?

    The ‘thank you’ reference was meant to be more of a general statement around the modern trend of having backend messages that are pointless. If I am setting up a site, the last thing I need is yet another pointless block appearing distracting me from performing what I need to do.

    It’s annoying.
