• Thank you for the development of this plugin.
We use your plugin on our doctor’s website to inform visitors who have symptoms of infection about what they need to consider before visiting our doctor’s office. Unfortunately, setting the cookie duration does not seem to work correctly: A “Time Delay / Auto Open” Trigger is set sitewide with a cookie “On Popup Open” that should expire after 30 minutes. In Chrome Inspector, however, I see the expiry date for the following day minus 30 minutes.
We also tried with cookie setting “On Popup Close”, same expiry date in the inspector.
Android and Windows PC users report that the pop-up does not reappear the next day, so the cookie seems to persist.
But maybe there is some advice?
    Cheers

  • Hey @heike-carle

Thanks for using Popup Maker and for taking the time to leave a review.

Hmmm…the cookie expiration definitely sounds like an issue. When editing the cookie, do you have the “Use Session Cookie?” setting checked or unchecked?

We would love to debug this further and get this working correctly for you. If you have a moment, can you send us a quick message through our support page with a link to your website? You can create a support ticket at the bottom of this page: https://wppopupmaker.com/support

BTW: “Use Session Cookie?” setting is unchecked.
