    The plugin has to be activated Network wide when using WordPress Multi. It can not be activated per site. I have been using this for a while without too many hiccups, but suddenly it’s become way too aggressive and put invalid code into my .htaccess giving all users error 500.

  • Don’t know, if you have noticed that setting, maybe it helps:
    Performance -> General Settings -> Miscellaneous: Uncheck “Use single network configuration file for all sites”
