Use WordPress to Create a Voting Site

  • Is it possible to use wordpress to create a website that allows users to vote for, say, their favorite presidential candidates, compile and then publish the results on a daily basis? If yes, how can this be done?

  • It can be done. You’ll need to do a search of plugins on this site to see what’s available. If there’s something that suits you can install and use that.

    If there’s no plugins that suit what you want, you’ll need to write your own.

    Anyone aware of any plugin available for this type of web application? If not, I could also use some help on how to search for the right plugin. Thanks.

    You might get better replies if you post the plugins you’ve searched for and why they’re not suitable.

    I use “Vote i up”, you can find this plugin with the search bar in the plugin section in you wordpress control panel.
