Use wordpress as cms

  • Hi there,

    Im new to wordpress and have managed to download and install it.

    I have a website (running on localhost) with a cms i built to update the content text on the website. This uses a mysql database.

    How can I use wordpress as my cms and link this into the existing mysql database with all the page content in?

    So I can edit my website content via the wordpress interface.

    Is this possible?
