We add the tracking info to the Before order details hook. You just need to make sure that this hook exists.

I do have the ability to drag a “[woocommerce_email_before_order_table]” hook to the customized email but when I test it does not autopopulate. I will try and work with the plugin developer. Thanks.

Ok, sure, let me know if I can be more help.

If it’s not a lot of trouble, I’d love to give you admin access so you can take a look for yourself and see if I’m overlooking something. Although it may be the case that the email customizer extension I’m using blocks that hook or uses its own behind a pay wall.

Hi, we do not do that, sorry ?? and you should not share and admin details or sensitive information here (its against the rules and for your security)..
Check what the YayMail plugin developer say and you can point the developer to us if they have any question.

Hi, it turns out you need the premium version of Yaymail to get access to the tracking module.

Can I confirm that I do not need the Pro version of AST to get tracking information included in WooCommerce emails? I ask because it seemed to be working fine in the preview of Yaymail templates where I included the tracking module. But now I just see “[yaymail_order_meta:_wc_shipment_tracking_items]”.

Also, on Order pages, I still see a Shipment Tracking box with a button to input a tracking number even though I’ve already purchased a shipping label for that order with tracking. The Shipping Label box to the left of it though does have a Track Package button. Can I safely just hide that superfluous Shipment Tracking box?

Thanks for your replies to my questions btw. Much appreciated.

Hi, I do not know why the Yaymail is only compatible with AST in their PRO, we use the WooCommerce default email hooks, maybe they do a custom template. check out maybe you can use another email customizer, like Kadence.
As for the order actions, you can choose in the setting on which order status to show the add tracking action button

Oh I was actually asking you if I needed the Pro version. Would seeing “[yaymail_order_meta:_wc_shipment_tracking_items]” where the tracking info should be suggest that is the case? I have a message in with them asking about this issue.

    Thanks again zorem.

zorem sorry but this is what I meant about having 2 different tracking boxes in an Order page. I believe AST is the left one and the right one I have no idea. https://i.ibb.co/VS3gjTM/Screen-Shot-05-06-21-at-01-39-PM.jpg

the left one is not created by our plguin.

Oh shoot, then why does the AST shipment tracking box (right one) still say enter tracking number when I already purchased a shipping label? Or do I have to enter it manually? Maybe that’s why it’s not showing up in the custom YayMail? Is this a Pro feature?

Hi, The left box is created by the WooCommerce shipping & Tax, the Advanced Shipment Tracking PRO provides built-in integration to get the tracking info into the shipment tracking meta data.

Thank you for always responding zorem. I see now I have to input the tracking number manually. Then everything works great with integration into the email customizer plugin I’m using. Thanks again for your responsiveness and very useful plugin.
