Use WC for affiliate marketing?

    Hey All!

    I’ve been looking into doing some affiliate (Amazon) marketing and wondering if there’s any reason I should use WC for doing so? I wouldn’t be conducting any transactions on my site – just reviews and redirects to Amazon.

    Searching online virtually everyone says to use WooCommerce – and I have no problems doing that – but I don’t see the advantage/reasons for using it – especially as I can’t find any plugin that imports items from Amazon directly into WC’s product pages.

    Hi @robg48, it sounds like you are looking to build a catalog of external products. I think WooCommerce would great for something like that, but whether it will work better for you than other alternatives, I think that’s something you’ll want to decide based on your project needs.

    This extension from the WooCommerce.com marketplace seems to add this feature exactly: https://woocommerce.com/products/amazon-product-importer/

    WooCommerce.com offers a 30-day refund policy in all their paid plugins, so you can try that out and decide if it will work for what you have in mind.
