Use Values from another WPDatatable (foreign key)

    Hello WPDataTables

    I hope you can please help me here as I can’t proceed with my Database

    When I create a new table and choose a column and change the data type to a “string” I have tried to choose the “Use Values from another WPDatatable (foreign key)” option from the “possible values for column select box” option but the button does not show to then choose the other tables and column etc and it won’t save as freezes up
    I have tried existing tables also that already have foreign keys but still the same

    I am using WPDataTables 5.0 and I tried to downgrade to 4.5 and I tried to downgrade WP from 6.1 to 6.0, php = 7.4 and tried Firefox instead of chrome and still no good

    It has been 4 months since I have had to create a new table with foreign keys so I am not sure what else might be a cause regarding any other plugins that may conflict etc

    I really like your product and am enjoying building my database and at some time I would love to give you my opinion as to some other features if possible, especially to improve the “relationship database ” side of WPDataTables, as without tables being more relational, it is really awkward to add new records or to show data without doubling up on the field columns in tables

    Since you’re using the Premium version of the plugin, please open a ticket on our official support platform, and we’ll gladly help you there.

    I tried to submit a ticket but unfortunately I don’t have a purchase code

    I do believe it is an issue with your plugin though and it would affect others

    so I am not sure what to do as now I am stuck

    Hello

    I have tried to add WPDataTable plugin 5.0 on another site and the Foreign key option works Ok which means something is corrupted on my current site

    I have deactivated many plugins including all other WPDataTable plugins except for the main one and still no good

    Can you give me some ideas please ?

    Just letting you know in case it will help if another customer has the same problem

    I found that the “Element Pack Pro” plugin caused the problem, I have deactivated and deleted it so all is good now

    In the future, when you have any questions about any premium feature, you can open a ticket in the Pre-Purchase section, that way you won’t be asked for a Purchase Code.
