Ok I use the Customizr Pro Theme and within that theme i have a H2 style created via the customisations, but how or can i use that style within the Event Calendar? or do i have to create a new style within Event calendar and use that? if i do need to do this how is that done please?

    Hi @ejwjohn,

Thanks for reaching out! The Events Calendar uses a separate style sheet for custom CSS, tribe-events.css, which is created and placed in a subdirectory of your theme folder. You can read more about how to apply CSS changes to our plugins on our Knowledgebase here!

I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Caroline,

Thanks for your response but you seem to have not read teh preface of my post as:-

So as i understand it if i just want to change the h2 style i have to create a whole new style sheet ?

    Hi John,

    It depends ??

If using the various settings you find in the Theme Customizer (including those added by your theme and those added by The Events Calendar) don’t let you achieve the desired result, you may also find you need to adjust the Default Stylesheet setting in the Events → Settings → Display screen: some experimentation may get you closer to your goal.

Ultimately, though, settings can’t cover every eventuality and yes, it may well be the case some amount of custom CSS is required to achieve an appearance the settings themselves don’t facilitate.

We certainly do appreciate this and we try hard to provide a reasonable and comprehensive range of settings that avoid the need for users to apply custom code in many cases. The nature of WordPress and the many possible permutations of plugins and themes, though, mean that we just can’t cover everything.

In such cases we at least want to leave you a pointer that can get you started in the right direction (even if the work itself is something you hand over to a designer/developer you hire rather than exploring it yourself).

    Thanks again!

Selected Skeleton Style and it seems to do what i want, I assume this is because the Event is “inheriting” the existing style.

    Thanks for the tip.
