Use the Browser instead of WordPress Uploader?

    Hi there,

    I wanted to ask if it is possible to use the default browser uploader instead of the modal from WordPress that appears now if I select a file.

    I would like to use your Plugin on the Frontend inside a form from ACFE and don’t want my users to see the WordPress UI. They should select a file from their device with their ‘native uploader’ and only see your plugins modal afterwards.

    Does that make sense?

    Just asking if there is a way to achieve this with relatively low effort or not?

    Hey,

    The plugin should support this out of the box. The upload file modal is displayed if the user has upload_files capability. If the user doesn’t have this capability, a browser native upload is displayed.

    The cropper modal is shown after file upload in both cases.

    Yes, I can confirm that works out of the box – thanks!

    Sorry I didn’t think of that myself, just tested my form being logged in as admin.
