Use term meta

    Please update to use term meta. For current user, you can upgrade database by converse from options to term meta

    I am using term meta. Thats why I was wondering if this plugin could use that aswell instead of using its own field in the database.

    The problem with using term_meta is that it will slow queries way down, because ordering by an unindexed meta-value requires a JOIN that will require a temporary table, and likely a full table scan of the meta table.

    The additional column is way more performant, plays well with object caching, and matches what other objects like posts and comments use, too.
