We are trying to move all our logging to syslog, and from there to cloudwatch. We are able to capture general wordpress system messages via the wp2syslog plugin. However, Wordfence utilizes it’s own logging utility on the local file system. Is it possible to redirect this to syslog? Also, a lot of the data that seems to be stored in the wflogs/* directory does not seem to be log data, but instead configuration data of the plugin instead. So I’m not sure if this is even a relevant question in the first place.

  • Hi @johnbburg,

The wflogs folder is only used by the Web Application Firewall. The actual activity log is stored in the database (in the wp_wfStatus table).

At the moment, we don’t have any way built to redirect the output.
