    I have FluentSMTP installed running SMTP Server. It worked great until we started using CloudFlare for routing MailChimp emails. Now I get an error from FluentSMTP SMTP Server that says “SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.” Can I use FluentSMTP SMTP Server in conjunction with CloudFlare? If not, will the other FluentSMTP providers work?

    Hi there,

    The mentioned error appears if you try to connect Fluent SMTP using Other SMTP connection and there is a problem in the authentication. Please check the username, password, and hostname. Also, sometimes firewalls can block the connections, you can check that as well.

    Thank you Amimul. I already checked those things and they are correct. The issue started after setting up CloudFlare DNS records. Can you point me to documentation on how to set up the Fluent SMTP – Other SMTP connection to work with CloudFlare. Are there some DNS records I need to add to CloudFlare specific to Fluent SMTP – Other SMTP connection to make this work?
