I’m trying to use Skeleton event details (time, date, cost etc), but using the rest of Tribe style sheet. This is because the Date: [Example Date] text (as well as time, cost etc) doesn’t line up, but it does line up using Skeleton style. This happens when viewing the single event page.

I’ve tried replacing parts of code I thought were relevant from ‘the-events-calendar/resources/tribe-events-skeleton.css’ to ‘the-events-calendar/resources/tribe-events-theme.css’. But this makes no difference.

I’ve even replaced the entire content of tribe-events-theme.css with that of tribe-events-skeleton.css and it makes no visible difference.

Tribe Events Styles are set in basic template settings and I am refreshing the cache of Firefox. I’ve also tried creating tribe-events.css in the tribe-events directory of my theme but that makes no difference either. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks, David.

    Hi David,

I’m afraid we can’t help you with customization work here on the free support forum. Just to be clear though, you should generally avoid editing core plugin files (including CSS) unless you have a really good reason to do so. Please check out the following resources which (the Themer’s Guide in particular) cover safely customizing things:

    I hope that helps!
