Use shipping in feed only for some products?

I’m back to this plugin again after trying out something else:)

But I’m having the issue that I’m listing a mix of digital files in the “digital art” category that do not have shipping and some physical items.

If I don’t use shipping in the feed, for the physical items, setting up shipping in merchant center works great, but the digital products do not get listed for missing shipping information.

If I use shipping in the feed, the digital items list OK, but the shipping for the physical products is wrong because I use calculated shipping with USPS and the price shown is too low and the same for every area.

But then, Google will not let me figure the shipping settings for the physical class because it says the shipping costs are in the feed.

I am wondering if there is a way to set up shipping in the feed EXCEPT for, perhaps, a certain shipping class OR to add shipping FOR a certain class (the digital items) so that the items with no shipping get that in the feed but I can manage shipping for physical items in merchant center?

For now, I only have a few, small, physical items and I’ve set the shipping cost to a flat rate in the feed that will be somewhat higher than what the actual shipping cost will be — but it will be more of an issue if I start to list larger items.
