• Hi.

I have made a post in my website who uses more than one category (one for the podcast, one for the “Featured post” banner in Home and one for another “featured post” thing in the footer of the home).

When I set my category to “Podcasts” only (the “Podcast configured” category for example), the Subscribe works as expected, with all links pointing to my category feed (https://www.scub.info/category/podcasts/feed).

Now, when I set another category, keeping “Podcasts” marked, the link changes to the default podcast config (https://www.scub.info/feed/podcast).

Is there a way to set what is the default category of a specific post to PowerPress?

    Thanks.

To clarify – if you mark a post with two categories, with one of the categories being Podcast, your podcast episode doesn’t go into the Podcast category feed?

But if you add a podcast episode only to the category Podcast, it will then go into the Podcast category feed?

Just some details, if you want PowerPress to know which category is your “podcast” category, only select 1 category. If you select multiple categories, there is no way for PowerPress to know which category is the podcast feed. We are working on a solution for this in PowerPress 7.0 where you can associate 1 category to each podcast feed (podcast channel). When that option is available it will allow you to select all the categories you want without conflicting.
