    Hi Daan,
Wouldn’t be a good idea to have relative urls for the links in the generated css file?

    Having this: /wp-content/cache/omgf-webfonts/7Au_p_0qiz-adf3nOCv2yw.woff
    instead of : hxxps://www.my-awesome-website.com/wp-content/cache/omgf-webfonts/7Au_p_0qiz-adf3nOCv2yw.woff

So when we migrate the website, we don’t need to download and regenerate the css file again.

    It’s just a suggestion, I don’t really know if it’s a good idea ??
    Cheers

    Hi @mikeingz,

Yes, in some situations that’d be a good idea! But it’ll also create some drawbacks.

I’ll look into it, though. There might be a clean way to implement this.

    Thanks!

    Hello @daanvandenbergh,

thank you for the great plugin. However, using relative URLs in the code is mandatory for me. I’m building WP sites locally and publish them by uploading via FTPS and overriding the DB on my host, unless more people are working on the site, ofc.

I think an setting would be the perfect solution here, so everybody can decide if relative or absolute is better.

EDIT: For now I can bypass this issue by replacing my local absolute URL with / in the generated fonts.css, but I have to be aware of that, all the time, so my suggestion remains.

    Have a nice day! ??

    Hi @martinbraun and @mikeingz,

Since you made such compelling arguments about this feature, I’ve implemented an option to use Relative URLs in v2.4.0. ??

Thanks for the feedback and enjoy OMGF! ??
