Use range for Year

Hi,

Awesome plugin. I have a custom attribute named ‘year’ in my site. Right now, I am using the drop-down to list the years. But this lets the users to choose only one year at a time when they filter. Is it possible to give a range for the year drop-down, like the price slider that selects all the prices within the given range?
For example, something like “Up to 2000” or “1990 to 2000” in the year drop-down and when the user clicks on it, everything in that range is displayed?
