Use query string to pre select a term in a taxonomy on filter page

    Is it possible to load the page with the filter grid and have a taxonomy term preselected?

    e.g. My client is a travel agent. I have created a filter linked to all their accommodation. One of the taxonomies is “country”. From my page about Austria, i would like to link to the accommodation page with the filter and have the results show only Austrian Accommodation.

    Is this possible? Or do I have to create an individual filter for each country and exclude other countries posts?

    Hi!

    In the settings of each term, you can specify which term will be used by default. Thus, in the grid of posts those posts that correspond to the pre-selected term will be loaded.
