Use placeholders in template "before" and "after" boxes
-
Hello,
Is there a way (there always is, by modifying the code) to use template placeholders in the “before” and “after” boxes for the archivist template ?
This is my situation:
To avoid having to use multiple templates for the same kind of page, I want to add some dynamic content in the “before” and/or “after” fields.
In the article containing the [archivist] shortcode, I have added a custom field named “archivist_pre_content”, which I would like to display before the loop with the article list.Adding the placeholder %POST_META|archivist_pre_content% to my “before” box will display just that “%POST_META|archivist_pre_content%” (unparsed).
It shouldn’t be a huge update to add placeholder parsing (at least POST_META, there might be some cases where other placeholders could be useful) to the “before” and “after” boxes, but so far, I haven’t the knowledge to do so myself.
