Use page or post or portfolio?

I am going to have a slider carousel to display all our staff and a slider carousel to display all our services. Each slide has a photo/image, some text and a Read More button to go for complete text and image. Not sure if I should use a page, a post or a portfolio for each staff profile and for each service details. Both staff profiles and service details are relatively static and not be changed frequently. I tend to use pages for these as posts would have dates related that can affect SEO. But most slider carousel plugins only work with posts. Please give me some suggestions about these. Many thanks!
