Use other Target Directory

In the case of using Dynamic User Directory, the directory is created by adding shortcode [DynamicUserDirectory] to a page. But how is this compatible with [bps_directory], I can’t add two shortcodes to the same page?

I’m using nouveau, and the documentation says:

Copy index.php to index-2.php and members-loop.php to members-loop-2.php

Does it mean change the names of the files?

Sorry, my answer was not complete, I should have added that only [bps_directory] is supported, other directories are not.

The docs line you mention means you have to make copies of the files with different names, then edit the copies. Anyway this step is optional, it’s only required when you wish to create a new directory template.

In order to create a new directory and add it as target directory, you only need steps A) and B) in the docs.

Hi Andrea, thanks for the clarification, from what I read, it is not possible to add Dynamic User Directory as Target Directory then, when it does not appear in Target Directory?

Yes, Dynamic User Directory is not supported by BP Profile Search.

The only option is to create one or more member directories with [bps_directory], and then use them as target directories of a BP Profile Search form.
