Could you let me know if it is possible to use jQuery for simple modifications (page layout, inject text, etc.).

My WordPress site has jQuery loaded but I found that jQuery statements don’t affect the pages created by Ecwid.

Is there an easy way to inject jQuery on pages created through Ecwid? Please let me know.

Hi, this is Sia from the Ecwid by Lightspeed Support Team, thank you for contacting us.

I’ve checked the information, and there is no way to edit the Ecwid store using jQuery, I am sorry about it!

Yet, let me please tell you that It is possible to change the look of the store using the built-in editor, here are the articles about it:

Also, I will be happy to help you further. Please, let me know the store ID (Where is my Store ID?) and what changes you’d like to apply with jQuery, and I will provide you with the possible solutions on this.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
    Best regards, Sia

Hi, thank you for the patience. I have double-checked the information, and would like to share the results as promised.
Let me please inform you, that Ecwid is a javascript-friendly product, that has multiple API documentation. You can check them if following this link:
    Ecwid API

In case you’d like to control the storefront content, please, refer to this page: Ecwid.OnPageLoad/Ecwid.OnPageLoaded. This page also contains examples of such solutions. Also, I’d like to share the link to the Developers guidelines that might come in handy: link to the guidelines

Additionally, here is an example of using jQuery and Ecwid API, here is a link to the file from the Ecwid plugin for WordPress: link to the file
If you couldn’t find an answer to your question in the Help Center or the API Documentation, try asking our developer community. Experienced people who create apps for Ecwid will surely help you out! Here is the link to this community: Developer Community on Slack
I hope this helps. Feel free to get back if there are any questions.

    Best regards, Sia
