Use normal (non-custom) categories with Event Organiser

Hi,

I’d like to know if there is an option to use EO with no custom categories, but the regular ones. I’d like to mix Events (which are custom posts) with my regular posts on displaying a category.

A (regular, non-custom) category should be able to list posts & events together (mixed). These posts & events would be organised into a single (non-custom) category that is common for both.

When creating/editing an Event, I’d also like to have the regular categories listed in the “Select category” box instead of the custom ones.
