Use Map Installation via [showmap] short code

Hello!

I have activated User Map plugin, but when I want to place it into a table in a desired area, it does not sit there but instead it breaks the entire home page! I am using the short code [showmap] and both the map and the place where I want it to be placed have the same width and height. So I wonder what is going wrong…. Thanks for your help in advance.
