    Hey @bozzo23 ,

Thank you for reaching us out.

UAG plugin uses jQuery for very few blocks (not more than 5 blocks out of 20+ blocks). Also, if those blocks are not used on any page, jQuery won’t be loaded. UAG is very lightweight and for every update, we always have focussed performance on high priority.

I hope that helps you clarify your doubts.

    Hey @bozzo23 ,

I totally understand your concern. It is hard to find stuff that are jQuery independent.

We use only when there is an absolute necessity to use it. Like for the blocks that use Carousel, Masonry, and blocks that need jQuery animation functions.

To jot down in a list, you can avoid blocks that have slider in them, Post Masonry, Timelines.

The main blocks, that are the building blocks for a good design i.e.
    1) Advanced Columns
    2) Section
    3) Info Box
    4) Social Share
    5) Multi Buttons
    6) Marketing Buttons
    7) Team
    8) Advanced Heading
    9) Blockquotes
    10) Contact Form Stylers
    11) Call to Action

They DO NOT use jQuery. So a very attractive design could be achieved without using jQuery. Even if you use any jQuery block, the library will be loaded only on the pages where the particular block is used.

Let’s say you have 3 pages, out of which 1 page uses Post Carousel. So the jQuery library will be loaded only on that 1 page. This will not affect the other 2 pages or any other part of the website.

We have taken care of it. I hope that helps you.
