    Hi,

As far as I know, this plugin was developed from Algolia Search.

In that plugin, there is an option to use Algolia in the backend.

Can we have this option in Typesense too?

    Hi @ahmetp83 ,

This plugin is not a port of Algolia Search.
This plugin has been developed from scratch.

Some of the settings organization were studied to make the UI/UX for the backend but the underlying code itself is developed from scratch as we thought the settings for Typesense could be greatly simplified and implementation could be made much better.

I have not come across for Algolia Search in the backend.
Can you please provide more details on how it could/might be implemented.
With your input we may be able to provide such features on future updates.

    Hi,

For those who do not want to use instant or autocomplete search.

When you enter the keyword and hit enter, posts that are found will be listed in the search results. (site.com/?s=keyword)

We will benefit from typo tolerance, highlighting, and speed.

Just like, when you search a keyword here, and then it goes to results and listing posts.

In Algolia, we have this option and no need for javascript.

    Hi @ahmetp83,

The current implementation is dependent on the instant search widgets.
There is no PHP only version planned. Perhaps if more voices call for this then we can add it to our idea board.
