Hey Macohen85. I was not aware there where so many of you since they made a movie about The Last Macohen. So first up, horray for you surviving and also (mostly) for including a link to your site.

So tell us more about the map. Is it one big map with image mapped links where the branches are? Or is there a base map, and then each trigger is a div that is absolutely positioned?

Also, what about the branch info? Will the user be able to expand/collapse each branch listed below and the image triggers are an alternative way to expand/collapse? Can more than one branch’s info be shown, or only one at a time?

OR… is the map the only way to show the branch info. Before they click on the map, there is nothing. Once they click on a branch, the branch info is shown. If they click on another branch, the branch info is replaced.

Regardless, for this I would recommend you look into the roll-your-own method, and it gives you ultimate flexibility when it comes to positioning your triggers and targets.

HaHa I am one of the few survivors! ??

It is one big map with image mapped links where the branches are.

Based on which branch the user clicks, I would like the branch info to expand below the map. I’d like only one branch’s info to be shown at a time.

ok, and are the branch info boxes with their own triggers? In other words, are all the branches listed below, and the user can expand (one at a time) the branch info w/o using the map?

Is the map a secondary trigger, or the primary (and only) trigger?

Thank you for your quick reply!

I want the user to not see the expanded branch info unless they click on a particular city on the image map.

The image map is the only trigger.
