    Hello,

Non-techie here, so please be nice!

I am working on my web site. Modifying a theme to fit with my website is pretty daunting with my limited skill set. However, I have installed the Mondo Zen theme here ==> https://www.news.yogathailand.info . I discovered that if I add an iframe to the homepage of my site and point to the blog, it displays fine and APPEARS to operate properly. At least in Front Page it does. I have not uploaded my experiment yet.

QUESTION : Before I commit to this strategy, I would like to know if there are any contraindications from a technical, design, security, SEO or other standpoints? From my end, the considerations are (1) getting almost everything I want almost immediately . . . as opposed to (2) hours and hours of a steep learning curve and primal frustration!!!

This seems so obvious, I wonder why there isn’t more written aobut it?

    Any feedback appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Aloha,

    Rex

Are you trying to load the WordPress site in the iframe so that you can keep your sites header? If so, you can actually incorporate your site’s header into your WordPress theme’s style and header.php files to create a seamless transition. Good luck with your site!

    Hi

I am currently trying to do the same thing. I want my entire website to look uniform and have the same header, including my blog page… can I somehow paste my website header and navigation bar as an iframe into the wordpress header?? If so where do I paste the iframe code in the style sheet?? I Need help!!

    Thanks
    jay
