• Does anyone know of a way to replace the “text” in the menu bar with a graphic? The reason I want to do this is to use non-standard fonts. I found a pluggin that will do that but as of right now I think that only addresses font within pages and posts. Thank you in advance for you your time. ?? agviv

  • Hi there,

What specific plugin are you using? I imagine that your plugin would make use of CSS to change your site’s fonts. If I’m right, then you could add some custom CSS to specifically target and change the text in your site’s menu.

If you can provide a link to your site and more details about the plugin/fonts you’re planning to use, I can take a deeper look.

    Thanks!

    Hi Siobhan,

    Site: https://www.cultivatingjoymv.com
    Plugin: “Use Any Font”

I’ve been messing around with it and see potential, I just don’t know how to make it work. I’ve uploaded the fonts and can “assign” the fonts to “Custom Elements”. How do I find the “element name” to enter into this field?

One thing the plugin offers is the following note:
    Note
Each line indicate one css element. You don’t need to use any css.
    Example:
    #content .wrap
    #content p

    Thank you again ??

Thank you for sharing that extra information!

You could add .main-navigation ul a in the plugin’s custom element box in order to target the text in your menu.

    Hope that helps. ??

Also worth noting that the plugin has an active forum here, where you could go for help from the plugin’s author:
