Use forminator for member management

Forminator by default is not a membership plugin and that is your goal from what I read. But you can use Forminator for sure to register users, payments and conditional payment with different plans.

Thanks Kris. It is a pretty generous forms plugin. I’m giving it a shot.

Do you think it is possible to give a reduction in price to members based on their ID/login information and the date of membership? For example, if he is logged-in and the date of membership is more recent than december 31st 2022. (Since non-profits memberships are renewed yearly.

It is possible to read user ID or user name into the form (into a hidden field) but that can’t be used in calculations (and to give price reduction you would need to calculate it first somehow).

The membership date (regardless of whether it’s just a user account registration date or some custom date from other membership plugin) can’t be fetched to the form automatically at all currently.

So all that would require pretty significant piece of additional custom code to get it done and I’m afraid we aren’t able to provide this kind of custom development.

Thanks for the clarification.

I realized that I can create the condition “if user ID is “null”. Do you think this could work? Would it mean that if the user fills the form without being logged in, the condition will verify?

Then I could add this condition to a calculation.

In this case it will be better to skip this from calculation and simply enable form for logged in users only:

Hi Kris,

It worked. I managed to add a 10% discount if the user is logged in.

That was one of the conditions for me to abdicate from a membership plugin. So, I guess i’ll keep using Forminator instead.
