Use for Previously Imported Podcasts

    So if I have a handful of previously imported podcasts (using the BluBrry Podcast Importer Tool), can I still use this plugin on the same Shows so that when they release new episodes they don’t also have to log in to our site and update their show page?

    What would be the best/easiest way to utilize this plugin on previously imported podcasts?

    I’m just guessing here, but I would assume that I would simply delete their imported shows from the Posts section of the WordPress site (or is this necessary), and import their RSS feed as a new import using your plugin…

    Hi Josh,

    Basically if you already imported a bunch of episodes, our importer would check the episode titles in the RSS feed against the titles you already have within your WordPress site.

    If there are titles with an exact match, they won’t be imported.

    You can of course delete the previously imported episodes, but this won’t be needed unless you have altered the titles.

    Our plugin automatically adds the episode unique GUID to the imported episodes, so even if you change the title of a post imported with the “Podcast Importer” plugin, it would still not import the same episode twice ??

    Thanks for the reply. I was able to update the rest of the podcasts on our site. This is an amazing plugin, that is quite the time saver. Many thanks!
