Use Customer Name in Order Notes

Is there a way to write an order note template that automatically uses a customer name when sending them a note. For example, the template would something like: “Hi [Customer Name], Your order is ready for pickup.” But the actual note would insert the Customer’s name: “Hi Joseph, Your order is ready for pickup.”
