• Hello,

I would like to display the currency symbol instead of the 3-digit code.

How would I go about doing this?

    Thank you

    Hi.

There is a new version of the plugin coming soon, it allows you to customize currency symbol for each currency. If you want to try it in action before it’s released, you can install testing version from here: https://desertfox.me/miniserv/_public/stripe-payments-1.7.9.2t2.zip

    Hi @alexanderfoxc,

Thanks for getting back so quickly.

I’ve given the new version a spin (think you posted it to an answer a few weeks back?), how do I then display the currency symbol instead of the 3-digit currency code on the front-end?

    Thanks

P.S. Great work on the plugin!

I assume you’re using payment button instead of the product, correct? We’re slowly dropping payment button shortcode support [accept_stripe_payment] in favor of products functionality [asp_product id=””]. So I suggest you to convert your payment buttons to products. It has all the functionality that button has plus some extra features (including the ability to change currency symbol).

Also, if possible, can you please provide URL to the page with the button on your site. We might have missed something and currency symbol is not displayed where it should (3-letter code is displayed instead).

    Thanks for the info @alexanderfoxc,

PLEASE don’t drop support for the [accept_stripe_payment] shortcodes – they offer so much flexibility, particularly when collecting donations as there’s no need for the products CPT.
