    Hi.

In the linked example I have a Single Record Page which I am slowly working out how to format.

As database fields, I have x2 Color Pickers for users to “brand” their page. You can see the output of one of the color pickers as text on the page I have linked to (“#f49a19”).

I would really like to use this value to format the background of the top section of my webpage. Ultimately I would then like to use the other color value to format the background colour of the lower section (both currently gray).

I have naively tried to place the shortcode for the color picker into the page’s CSS but this doesn’t work…

Please can someone let me know if what I am trying to achieve is possible and maybe point me in the right direction?

    Cheers, Don

This is possible, but will require some coding skills, the plugin doesn’t have something like this built into it.

There are several ways to do this, possibly the easiest would be to create a custom shortcode template that uses the selected color values to set up an inline <style> tag that overrides the page’s CSS.

I can’t be too specific about this, the CSS overrides will need to be tailored to your site and theme.

Hey, thanks for the answer. I think that’s probably a bit beyond my skill level at the moment, so I’ll stick with the greys for now. thanks for the plugin! Don
