  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

WooCommerce doesn’t come out of the box with a brand input field so how did you add a brand field? Did you create your own WooCommerce attribute, did you use a custom field or an external 3th party plugin for that?

i am using simple woo attributes to add brand names

the attributes are added to the main parent listing, so when i create a feed of variations i don’t have the brand names

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Only when the brand is actually “used for variations” as shown in this screenshot it will be returned by WooCommerce and added to your feed.

so what’s the solution for this? i don’t want to enter this data for all variations

    will any brand plugin help?

Yes, you can use any of these brand plugins for that:

    • Supports the official “WooCommerce Brands” plugin
    • Supports Yith brand attributes

Will these plugins provide a solution for my concern, brand value for variations?

You can set a brand on product variable level and as such all those variations will get the same brand value which also will be added to your feed.

Assuming the issue has been resolved and our help is no longer required we will close this topic for housekeeping reasons now.
