    I recently installed the Use Any Font plugin and it looks like the plugin is conflicting with my theme. When in edit mode and going to edit text, the tabs for Visual and Text are not clickable as well as the Cancel and Save buttons. I have to refresh the page to get the edit text box to disappear. The reason I know this is a plugin conflict with the theme is because I deactivated the plugin to test and when doing to, everything works and reactivated the plugin and it’s broken again. Is anyone else having a similar problem and/or is this a known bug?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Thanks

    @drew75 ,

    I am so sorry as i couldn’t test it in more details as i was unable to get the copy of it. Any chance you can deactivate other plugins and just keep the theme and our plugin. Does that make any difference ?

    If you can send me the copy of it, please send it to me at dnesscarkey @ gmail . com . I will use it for testing purpose only.

    Thanks

    I emailed you a link to access the theme file. I can deactivate other plugins to test, but I can’t keep them deactivated.

    @drew75 ,

    This theme is not compatible with PHP 8 and i am unable to use it. I am getting this error.

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function create_function() in D:\XAMPP\htdocs\useanyfont\wp-content\themes\cardinal\swift-framework\widgets\widget-mostloved.php:102 Stack trace: #0 D:\XAMPP\htdocs\useanyfont\wp-content\themes\cardinal\functions.php

    This is happening due to use of create_function, which was deprecated from 7.2 and was removed from 8.0.

    I can’t be sure if this is causing the issue with our plugin, but enable to use it due to its 8.0 compatibility.

    Thanks

    Thank you for checking on this. I have reached out to the theme developer (Swift Ideas) support and notified them of the issue and what you have told me about the compatibility issue with PHP 8. I hope to hear back from them with some useful information. In the meantime, I have to keep the Use Any Font disabled to work on the website.
