I am trying to show a section if the current date/time is between 2 dates. The dates need to be dynamically generated rather than hard coded. I tried doing this by putting shortcodes in the Conditional value boxes, but they don’t seem to get evaluated. I know the shortcode works, but the debugger says that the values for Check-Value: and Check-Value:2 are both 0. I thought perhaps checking the “Parse shorcodes” box would enable this functionality, but on further reading it seems as if that is applying to the Dynamic tags, not the conditions?

Is this even possible and, if not, is there any chance of adding this capability?

    Thanks!

    Hello @hmcody

the parse shortcode option will parse shortcodes in the conditional value boxes.
If the option is off, the debug-box should show the unparsed shortcode (like “[myshortcode]”.
Because in your case the Check-Value is zero, the shortcode was parsed.

Can you give us an example what the shortcode should output?

Did you use String to time as compare type?

I ended up not using your plugin to do this, so I no longer have what I did available.

Thanks for getting back to me, though.

Ok, no problem and sorry that our answer came to late.
We think we just found out what the problem was in your case.
It should be fixed in next version.
