Use 1 security plugin or 2 security plugins together?

Hi,

Any recommendations for using just 1 security plugin or 2 security plugins together? I’ve read round heaps of the plugin reviews, and it seems that lots of people use 2 together – but doesn’t this put an extra load on the server, especially if you’re trying to reduce the load from plugins?

Each of the 4 main ones appear to do the same thing – so aren’t you doing it twice with 2 installed?

We’re currently using Better WP security, which has been doing it’s job OK, but it has caused a few issues at times – so I’m looking at other options, with All In One WP Security & Firewall or Bulletproof Security coming out on top, though again, some say they use it with another one…

Any thoughts about this?
