    Hi

    Thanks for the free plugin.

If i have a existing folder for logged in user only files, can i use this plugin to protect the links to these files?

For example, i have a folder named downloads in my uploads folder, can i restrict access to the files in this folder?

Most of the files are named something like 123.zip

  • Hey Brad,

Best thing to do would be to copy your files over to the /wp-content/uploads/dlm_uploads/ folder. This folder is protected by default by our plugin.

If this isn’t possible, you can also copy the .htaccess file that is located in /wp-content/uploads/dlm_uploads/ to your /downloads/ folder.

    Kind Regards,

    Hey Barry

Tried both suggestions and the files are still accessible when logged out.
