Usage question

  • I apologize for what seems to me to be a fundamental question about how to use this plugin. But I’m a bit nervous about updating my theme.

    When I built my site, I installed One-Click Child Theme and activated it. I have made some CSS updates.

    Now it’s time to update the theme. There is no automatic update feature for this theme, so I will have to remove the current theme files and upload the newer release.

    My question is how to do that. Should I use FTP, replacing everything inside the theme’s folder? Is that all I have to do?

    Or is there a “better” way?

  • This is not a theme but a plugin. The child theme your created with this plugin is independent, so updating the plugin will not affect the child theme.
