• Before I install this plug-in I just want to be sure I’m understanding how it can best be used. (After trying a host of different plug-ins for my particular purpose, I’ve learned it’s best to ask up front.)

    I have some audios on a page of my blog that I would like people to have to register for in order to use. I want to keep the page private and to limit access to those who have registered. People will set their own username and password and once they have received a confirmation email, I’d like for them to be able to come back to the blog, log in and then have access to the private audio page.

    Can your plugin handle this on its own or could it work in tandem with another plugin?

    Please advise.

    Thank you!

    Sandra

  • Contacting the plugin author with your question may be a good idea if you don’t get an answer here. (I don’t use teh plugin so I couldn’t tell you.)

    Thank you, theapparatus. The only problem is that there’s no contact info listed on the plugin homepage and when I try to visit the author’s homepage, I get the following message:

    Directory Listing Denied
    This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

    Any other suggestions?

    I’m looking for just the same kind of code, plugin or widget. I want the user to click the “read more” link at the bottom of the blog entry on the front page. Then, one of a few things happen:
    (a) if the user is not registered, s/he is asked to do so;
    (b) if the user is registered, but not logged in, s/he is asked to log in to the site; or
    (c) if the user is registered and logged in, s/he is sent to the full blog post.

    Any thoughts?
