Usage alongside Visual Composer Posts grid module

Hello,
I need your help, if you can address me, about this task.
I use Visual Composer within the theme I bought. I have a page where have been showed all posts (no matter if standard or CPT), sometimes filtered by category or tag. Those posts are then ordered by DESC Date.
I would like improve the query loop by getting the most viewed post (5, 10… I’ll decide from time to time). So I thought something about applying additional filters before the query outputs its results in the loop.
Do you mind help me on that?
