Usability with MoodThingy Mood Rating Plugin

Is it possible to use this with the MoodThingy Mood Rating Widget Plugin?
I would like to change the mood names with font emoticons, I had tried changing the texts with the icon codes, but it didn’t work!
Any help, please?
