US Dollar sign ($) displayed on Product Quick View

I am getting a $ above the text entry fields I defined through PPOM on the Quick View panel but it does not display on the actual product item page. The pages are still in the sandbox, but I do have screen grabs that show how to replicate (see the attached link). The two data entry fields are both strings.

How do I remove that extraneous “$” from the Quick View panel?
